I have a master’s degree in social work from Boston University and received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark University. I have worked in a range of settings including inpatient, day treatment, and partial hospital programs. I have considerable experience in outpatient settings including large community mental health centers. Prior to starting my own practice, I worked at Life Management Associates, a group practice in Harvard, MA.
I treat a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, and post-traumatic stress. I have extensive experience in working with trauma survivors and treating post-traumatic stress disorder. I have special clinical interest and experience in enhancing self-esteem and assertiveness as well as treating insomnia. My approach to therapy is eclectic and I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal therapies.
